For the past four years, composer James “Jabbo” Ware and Y’All of New York have feted some of the special folks who are indispensable to the life and vitality of the jazz community in the region and beyond. Past honorees have included Frank and Cecilia Foster and Cobi Narita. This year’s honorees were Ray and Marlene Carman as well as the Reverend Dale R. Lind, Assistant Pastor for Jazz Ministry at St. Peters Lutheran Church.
